CONTEXT


Unleashing the power of play worldwide. The Right To Play Foundation empowers children to be active, healthy, and happy through sports and play programs. To create more attention and support for their mission, a sympathetic action deal has been arranged with Hockey District; aimed at hockey enthousiasts and hockey clubs. I was tasked to come up with a communication concept and branding to promote this collaboration.
 

IDEA


No game without a ball. No fun and development without play. This simple statement underscores the fundamental role that play serves in our lives. With the tagline 'Play it forward’, we introduce several unique Right To Play materials, with a donation to the foundation for each item sold. Each item sold will result in a donation to the foundation.

 

IMPLEMENTATION


Through a multi-channel approach, the campaign was promoted online through web and social media platforms, as well as outdoor advertising. To add an extra element of excitement, customers who purchased merchandise had a chance to win a hockey clinic, by finding the signed balls from ambassadors. Together, we're making a real impact for children and promoting the importance of play in their lives.

In a range of static and animated content for social media, we emphasize the significance of play in creating opportunities for children around the world.

All promotions lead to the action page or online store, where Hockey enthusiasts can purchase various unique Right to Play materials, including a coach starter kit.

The online content has also been translated to offline. It can be seen in sports stores as roll-up banners and on the sports fields (with alternative messaging) as target boards.
